Bankmobile Disbursements Student Login : How long does BankMobile disbursements take?

Your school delivers financial aid refunds and other credit balances to students with the BankMobile Disbursements platform. Some of the reasons you might receive money include: dropping or canceling a class, or the receipt of Financial Aid or a grant. In these cases, the school will send the refund to Bankmobile to be disbursed to you.

By selecting a refund preference, you’ll have the power to choose how you would like to receive funds. Choices include an electronic deposit to another account, a paper check (if offered by the institution during refund selection) or electronic deposit to a BankMobile Vibe Checking Account, a digital-only, FDIC insured checking account designed specifically for students with access to 55,000 fee-free Allpoint® ATMs (Allpoint ATM location, availability, and hours of operation may vary by merchant and is subject to change), money management tools and a one-of-a-kind recognition program.

Bankmobile are committed to delivering 100% of students’ refunds, providing students with clear choices and offering great customer service.

When are refunds disbursed?

Bankmobile will know when you will receive your refund only after your school sends us a refund file containing that information. Sign up for Mobile Alerts with us so you can be notified when your refund has been disbursed to us. But since each campus is different, the best way for you to find out when your refund might arrive is to contact your Financial Aid or Business Office.

Why do schools use the BankMobile Disbursements platform to deliver refunds?

We both have the same goal: putting students first. Choices include an electronic deposit to another account, a paper check (if offered by the institution during refund selection) or electronic deposit to BankMobile Vibe, a digital-only, FDIC insured checking account designed specifically for students* with access to 55,000 fee-free Allpoint® ATMs (Allpoint ATM location, availability, and hours of operation may vary by merchant and is subject to change), money management tools and a one-of-a-kind recognition program.

An interest rate of 0.01% will be paid only on the portion of the average daily balance that is greater than $1,000.99 resulting in an Annual Percentage Yield (APY) range of 0.50% to 0.06%, depending on the balance in the account, assuming a maximum average daily balance of $10,000.00. How do I qualify for interest on my BankMobile Vibe Checking Account?

You must be an enrolled student to open this account. If you make Qualifying Deposits of $300.00 or more per statement cycle then you will be eligible for interest, otherwise you will earn no interest.

If your school no longer uses our BankMobile Disbursements service or if you enroll with another school which doesn’t use our BankMobile Disbursements service, your enrollment status will become unenrolled, and you will be moved to the BankMobile Interest Bearing Checking Account.

Qualifying Deposits include direct deposit, transfers from external bank accounts, check deposits, point-of-sale deposits and cash deposits such as those made via Reload @ the Register™ or Rapid Reload™. Financial aid refunds or other refunds issued by your school, interest earned on your account, promotional credits such as cash back rewards, internal account transfers, fee waivers, fee credits, returned items or dispute credits are not eligible toward the $300.00 in total deposits.
