Current Status: Likely Server Outage (Christmas 2025) Since today is December 25, 2025, you are likely hitting the widespread holiday server overload reported across ARC Raiders, Fortnite, and other live-service games.
If you are seeing error ART00004 (Network Timeout) or just “Connection Lost,” this is on Embark’s end (AWS server strain), not your PC.
However, if you want to be 100% sure it’s not you, try these fixes in order.
1. The “Time Sync” (Embark’s Main Fix)
Like The Finals, ARC Raiders will disconnect you if your PC clock is even 2 seconds out of sync with the server.
Action: Right-click your Windows clock > Adjust date and time > Sync Now.
Note: If the button is greyed out, toggle “Set time automatically” OFF and ON again.
2. Flush Your DNS (Clear “Bad” Routes)
If you can’t connect while others can, your ISP might be routing you to a crashed server node.
Open Command Prompt (
cmd) as Administrator.Type
ipconfig /flushdnsand hit Enter.Type
ipconfig /renewand hit Enter.Restart the game.
3. Verify Integrity (Fix Anti-Cheat)
If you get kicked mid-game (not at the menu), your Easy Anti-Cheat (EAC) might be timing out.
Steam: Right-click ARC Raiders > Properties > Installed Files > Verify integrity of game files.
Console: There is no verify button; a full console restart is the only equivalent.
4. Port Forwarding (The “Strict NAT” Fix)
If you consistently disconnect exactly 2–5 minutes into a match, your router is blocking the game’s traffic.
Open these ports on your router:
TCP: 27015, 27036
UDP: 27015, 27031-27036
Summary:
If you see ART00004, stop troubleshooting—the servers are down/overloaded for the holiday. If you just get kicked randomly, do the Time Sync (Step 1).
