Your card has arrived and you’re ready to spend! We don’t want to stand in the way of you and your newfound freedom.

There are several quick and easy ways to activate your card online or with one of our friendly staff.

Here’s how to activate.

Over the phone

Alternatively, if you’re still stuck or enjoy the good old days of pressing buttons and having a chat with our automated assistant, you can get in touch over the phone to activate your card.

Our automated service is available 24/7. When you are activating your card, please follow the prompts to select your own Personal Identification Number (PIN). After this your card will be ready for use!

How do I download the app?

On your mobile phone, find the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android) icon. Then use the Search button at the bottom right (iPhone) or top right (Android) of the screen to look for the app. Select the app ‘Latitude’ and select Get (iPhone) or Install (Android).

You’ll need internet access to download and use the app. iPhone users must have at least iOS 11 or above. Android users must have at least Android 7.0/ Nougat or above.

Setting up a Latitude ID

What is a Latitude ID and don’t I already have one you might ask?

A Latitude ID is unique to the app. It allows us to link all of your Latitude accounts so you can see and manage them from the home screen on the app.

Signing up is super easy all you need is:

  • Your name
  • Email Address
  • A unique password
  • Date of Birth
  • Credit Card or Account number
  • And a one-time code will be sent to the mobile number on our records

Now your ready to start linking your accounts!

How do I link Gem credit cards to my Latitude ID?

To link a Gem credit card, you will need to enter your card or account number and date of birth. You will then be sent a SMS verification code to the mobile number we have on record.

As an added security measure, we will check that the names on all accounts are identical
