To activate your UnitedHealthcare card UCard, sign in or create your UnitedHealthcare account at activate.uhc.com to activate your UCard.

To activate your UCard with UnitedHealthcare,

1. Online Activation:

  1. Visit the UCard Activation Page: Go to activate.uhc.com in your web browser.
  2. Enter Your Information: Provide your member ID, date of birth, and the last four digits of your Social Security number.
  3. Create a PIN: Set up a secure PIN for accessing your UCard information.
  4. You’re Activated!: Once you complete these steps, your UCard should be activated and ready to use.

2. Phone Activation:

  1. Call the UCard Activation Line: Dial 866-757-1864, TTY 711.
  2. Provide your UCard Number: Enter the 17-digit number located under the barcode on the back of your UCard.
  3. Follow the Prompts: The automated system will guide you through the activation process.

Here’s how the UCard works:

• It’s your member ID card: Just like a traditional insurance card, you’ll show this when you get healthcare services.

• It may have extra features: Depending on your specific plan, your UCard might give you access to things like:
