🚀 How to Activate Your SMARTY SIM
A. 🔹 If It’s a Brand-New SIM (e.g. ordered or bought as a bonus)
Go to smarty.co.uk/activate.
Click “Yes, let’s get started”.
Enter the last 12 digits of your SIM card number (usually after 8944…).
Choose a monthly plan, complete payment, and create your SMARTY account.
Activation typically completes within a few minutes, though it can take up to 2 hours. You’ll receive a text and email confirming activation.
B. 🔹 Transferring (Porting) Your Existing Number (Bring your number to SMARTY)
Follow steps A—but during account setup choose “keep my existing number“.
Enter your current mobile number and PAC/STAC code from your provider.
Confirm the switch and select a port‑in date (must precede PAC/STAC expiry).
Complete payment and finish your order.
On the chosen date your number will transfer—SMARTY usually completes the port within 1 business day and you’ll get confirmation when it’s done.

C. 🔹 Via the SMARTY Mobile App
Download the app for iOS or Android.
Tap Join SMARTY → Activate SIM, then scan or manually enter the SIM barcode or number.
Follow prompts to pick a plan, enter your details, and pay.
Optionally choose to port your number during setup.

✅ Activation Tips & Troubleshooting
Timing matters: Activate your SIM on the day you want your monthly billing to renew, as that date can’t easily be changed without pausing your plan.
Allow up to 2 hours for activation to complete.
Restart your device or reinsert the SIM if it doesn’t connect immediately.
Ensure your device is unlocked and supports 4G VoLTE (or 5G)—SMARTY no longer supports older 3G-only devices.
Insert the correct SIM—sometimes a bonus SIM is included in the packaging; only the one marked SMARTY and glued to the pack is valid.
