Activate Games takes entertainment into the future by fusing technology and physical activity together to create live-action gaming experiences. The high-tech gaming company currently has three additional locations in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, Louisville, Kentucky and Lexington, Kentucky.

Activate Games provides high-tech games that test your team’s physical and mental agility across a wide variety of real-life challenges. Once inside, participants choose from hundreds of combinations of games and difficulty levels, each lasting one to three minutes. Activate Games has a variety of gaming rooms including Megagrid, Hoops, Push, Hide, Laser, Trench, Pipes, Climb and much more. An RFID wristband tracks participants’ scores and progress throughout the experience making it perfect for a casual night out or intense competition.
“Activate allows guests to have fun with their closest friends and family while working as a team,” said Anderson. “We hope people leave their Activate Games experience wanting to come back for more and set a new personal record.”
Activate Games offers participants the opportunity to immerse themselves in a realistic arcade game and compete alongside a team of at least two to five others. Activate Dallas will be located at 5013 W Plano Pkwy, Suite 100, Plano, Texas, 75093. The official grand opening date will be announced at a later date with the hope to be opened in time for the 2022 end-of-year Holiday season. Great physical arcade! The more people, the more fun! We did it for date night, and it was a great replacement for the gym. $25 per person for 75 minutes. There are 7 different rooms, and each room have several activities to choose from as well as different levels of difficulties with categories in collaboration or competition. For example, you could be dodging lasers, throwing basketballs, or climbing walls. All the attendants were super helpful and friendly. You get a bracelet to put your belongings in a locker, and you get another bracelet to track your scores and sign up for the games. Establishment also have a water fountain and restrooms readily available. Will be back with more people!
