Steps to Activate a NEXUS Card (U.S./Canada):
Visit the Trusted Traveler Program Website:

Log in to Your Account:
Use your login credentials (the ones created when you applied for NEXUS) to sign into your account on the Trusted Traveler Program website.
Activate the NEXUS Card:
If you’ve already been approved for the NEXUS program, your card should be activated once you pick it up at the enrollment center. However, you may need to activate it online if the card was mailed to you. Follow the activation process outlined on your CBP or Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA) profile.
Complete Your Enrollment Process:
After logging in, follow the instructions for setting up your NEXUS card and activating it. This will usually involve reviewing your personal information, confirming details, and activating it.
Complete the Background Check (if not already done):
If you haven’t completed all required steps (such as your interview or biometric data), you may need to complete these as well before the card becomes fully active.
If You Have a Nexus Prepaid Card (Financial Card):
If you’re referring to a Nexus card related to a financial or prepaid service (e.g., a payment or rewards card), follow these steps:
Visit the Card Issuer’s Website:
For cards like the Nexus Mastercard or Prepaid Visa, visit the card issuer’s website (often provided with the card) for activation instructions.
Call the Activation Number:
You’ll typically find a phone number to call or an online form to fill out in your activation instructions.
Activate Online:
Go to the website provided, enter your card number, security code, and any other details, then complete the activation.
Set Up an Online Account (optional):
Some cards require setting up an online account for managing your balance, transactions, or rewards.
