Activate Cash App Card by Phone| Using QR code and without QR code

To activate your Cash App card by phone, you have two main options: with the QR code or without the QR code (manually). Make sure you’re logged into the correct account.

Here’s how to do both using the Cash App mobile app on your phone:

✅ 1. Open the Cash App on your phone

Make sure you’re logged into the correct account.

🔳 2. To activate using QR code (if you have the card’s QR code):

1. Tap the Cash Card tab (little credit card icon) on the home screen.

2. Tap “Activate Cash Card”.

3. Tap “Use QR Code”.

4. Use your phone’s camera to scan the QR code that came with your card.

✍️ 3. To activate without QR code (manual entry):

1. Tap the Cash Card tab.

2. Tap “Activate Cash Card”.

3. Tap “Use CVV Instead”.

4. Enter the following info from your card:

   • The CVV (3-digit security code on the back)

   • The expiration date

☎️ What about activating by calling a phone number?

Cash App does not support card activation by phone call. All activations must be done through the app for security reasons.
