If you’re a AAA member, you can do your most common RMV business at a AAA location.
AAA members can process the following RMV-related transactions at AAA locations throughout Massachusetts:
• Renew your Passenger (class D) and/or Motorcycle (class M) driver’s license
• Replace your driver’s license
• Renew your Massachusetts Identification (Mass ID) card
• Replace your Mass ID
• Start your Passenger (class D) or Motorcycle (class M) learner’s permit application
• Renew most vehicle registrations
• Replace most vehicle registrations
• Transfer your registration (limited)
• Replace most vehicle titles
Visit the AAA location page for the site you will be visiting for a complete list of RMV services. AAA members must make an online reservation. Visit aaa.com/reservations to schedule your visit up to two weeks in advance.

All motor vehicles or trailers must maintain a valid registration. Vehicle registrations must be renewed every 1 or 2 years depending on the plate type.
