mcc.nic.in NEET PG Counselling 2021 Live Updates : Round 1 Registration Begins

Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will begin the registration process for NEET PG counselling today, January 12th, after a two-month delay. On mcc.nic.in, candidates can sign up for the programme. Four rounds of counselling will be held for the 50 percent all India quota seats. For MCC counselling, candidates must use the same email address and mobile phone number they provided in their NBE exam application.

After registering, they will be required to select and secure their preferred medical colleges. This facility will be open for the first round from the 13th to the 17th of January.

The first round of seat allotments for the NEET PG counselling class of 2021 will be announced on Monday, January 22.

The NBE website will also ask candidates for some of the information they provided when registering for the exam.

SC: 15 per cent

ST: 7.5 per cent

OBC(Non-Creamy Layer) as per the Central OBC list: 27 per cent

EWS: 10 per cent

PwD- horizontal reservation as per NMC norms: 5 per cent

All India quota seats will not revert to states after the second round of NEET 2021 counselling. AIQ NEET counselling was previously limited to two rounds, with seats returning to the states after the second round of AIQ.
