Ashes of Creation servers are currently ONLINE. The developers are on break from December 20, 2025 – January 5, 2026.

The game is in Alpha Two (Phase 3) as of December 2025, which means the servers are scheduled to be available 24/7. However, the development team is currently on a holiday break, which impacts support and updates.

🔴 Critical Status Update (December 22, 2025)

• Server Availability: Servers remain open and playable 24/7 during the holidays.

• Dev Team Holiday Break: The developers are on break from December 20, 2025 – January 5, 2026.

  • What this means: You can play, but major bugs may not be fixed until January. A “skeleton crew” is monitoring for total server crashes, but customer support tickets will be delayed.

If you are logging in, these are the primary persistent realms available:

• NA East (US): Shol (This is the primary “Gigaserver”)

• EU West: Lotharia

🔧 How to Check Real-Time Status

Since this is an Alpha test, sudden crashes or emergency maintenance can happen. Use these sources for up-to-the-minute confirmation:

1. Official Discord (Best Source): Check the #news or #server-status channels. The developers ping these channels immediately if a realm goes down.

2. Steam Community Hub: Since the game launched on Steam Early Access (Dec 11), major outages are often pinned in the News section.

3. Launcher: The game launcher typically displays a red “Offline” banner if the login servers are down.

🛑 Troubleshooting “Server Offline” Errors

If the servers are listed as “Up” but you cannot connect:

• Check for Client Updates: There was a major update (v0.18 Harbinger) on December 11. Ensure your Steam client has downloaded the latest patch.
