Stone Disc Puzzle BG3 | The Quick Solution

This is likely the Defiled Temple “Moon Puzzle” located beneath the Goblin Camp. You need to arrange the discs so that the bottom circle (the one illuminated by the beam of light) contains only black dots (New Moons), and the top circle contains all full moons.

The Quick Solution

If you have not touched the discs yet, face the fallen statue (North) and spin them in this exact order:

1. Top x 1

2. Left x 1

3. Right x 2

4. Bottom x 3

5. Left x 2

Note: If you have already messed with the discs, just keep spinning until the bottom circle is all black dots and the top circle is all white dots.

Alternative Method (Skip the Puzzle)

If you don’t want to solve it, walk your party toward the locked door.

1. If your characters pass a Perception Check, they will spot a lever on the wall to the right of the door.

2. Use a character with high Dexterity to Lockpick the lever.

3. Pull the lever to open the door immediately.
