8070 Registration Online 2026 Check | Eligibility Requirements

The 8070 registration is primarily used for the Ramadan Relief Package 2026 (also known as the Nigehban Program) in Pakistan, specifically for residents of Punjab.

As of March 2026, here is how you can check your registration and eligibility online:

## 1. Check via SMS (Easiest Method)

The most direct way to check your status is through the 8070 SMS service:

  • Open your phone’s messaging app.

  • Type your 13-digit CNIC number (without dashes).

  • Send the message to 8070.

  • You should receive a reply confirming whether you are eligible for the free ration or cash assistance.

## 2. Online Registration Portals

There is no single “8070” website, as the code refers to the SMS gateway. Instead, eligibility is verified through these official government portals:

  • PSER Portal: Visit the Punjab Social Economic Registry (PSER) to update your household data. This is the main database used to determine 8070 eligibility.

  • 8171 Web Portal: Since the program is linked with BISP (Benazir Income Support Programme), you can also check your general poverty score and eligibility at 8171.pass.gov.pk.

## 3. Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for the 2026 relief package:

  • Your monthly household income should generally be below Rs. 60,000.

  • Your poverty (PMT) score must be below 32-35 (as per BISP/NSER records).

  • You must have a valid CNIC registered with NADRA.

  • The SIM card you use to send the SMS should be registered under the same CNIC.

## Common Troubleshooting

  • “CNIC Not Found”: This usually means you haven’t completed the NSER or PSER survey. You should visit your nearest BISP tehsil office to register.

  • No SMS Reply: The 8070 system often gets overloaded during the first week of Ramadan. If you don’t get a reply within 24 hours, try again during off-peak hours (late night or early morning).

  • “Ineligible”: This happens if the database shows you own a luxury vehicle, have travelled abroad recently, or are a government employee.
