#1.1900.1 Rockstar Status Error | Rockstar Server Down

Error #1.1900.1 is a specific “Connection Timeout” error. It doesn’t usually mean the entire server is down; it means your launcher is failing to establish a secure handshake with the authentication server.

How to Fix Error #1.1900.1

Since you’ve been troubleshooting other “handshake” issues recently (like the Rockstar details verification error), your network settings likely need a quick refresh to clear the “stuck” connection.

1. The “Sync Now” Fix (Most Common Cause)

Rockstar’s servers will reject your connection if your PC’s clock is off by even a few seconds.

  • Right-click the time on your Windows taskbar.

  • Select Adjust date/time.

  • Click the “Sync now” button under “Synchronize your clock.”

  • Restart the Rockstar Launcher.

2. Flush Your DNS

This clears out old, “bad” routes your internet might be taking to reach Rockstar’s servers.

  • Open the Start Menu, type cmd, and run it as Administrator.

  • Type ipconfig /flushdns and press Enter.

  • Restart your router and your PC.

3. Delete the Local Profile Folder

Sometimes the local “handshake” file gets corrupted.

  • Close the Launcher completely.

  • Go to Documents\Rockstar Games\Launcher.

  • Delete the Profiles folder (this will NOT delete your games, but you will have to sign in again).

If you are still seeing this error after trying the steps above, it might be a temporary local outage with your ISP’s routing to Rockstar.
